The important thing to note is that once the program has attempted to Print or Preview a problem file (where Page Settings is set to Custom) the program will not recognize a non-problem file until the program is restarted from scratch. I have been able to reproduce the problem or the cure many times. Print and Print Preview now works correctly. Open my problem file and/or the Demo file You must Save the corrected file and CLOSE Musescore program If you try to Print or Preview now it will still be incorrect. It is currently set to 'Custom' - change this Letter or A4 Note that once this error has occurred no other file (including the demo file) will Print or Preview correctly Start the program (with the 'Start Empty' preference selected)Įxecute Print/Print Preview and the files displays and prints perfectlyĮxecute Print/Print Preview and I get the 8 inches of blank header I cannot tell what is causing it but I can reproduce it at will which I think means your programmers have somewhere to start. I have spent the last few hours trying to isolate and then recreate the problem and then make it go away. It would be nice however to have the ability to print directly from Musescore. I can, as others have done, save the file in PDF format and then use OSX's Preview program to print my scores. I have the 'blank page' printing problem. I am using Musescore 0.9.6.1 on OSX10.6.4 - this should be the latest version of both program and operating system.
